Pool Access

The Carefree pool is a private members only facility for Carefree North and South residents and their guests.  Only members in good standing may access the pool during normal hours or rent the pool.

You must present a pool pass to enter the pool.  No pass, no entrance.

Pool Hours

Pool will be open longer.   If it is 70°F or higher the pool will be open until 9:00p.m. starting June 1st.

Pool Hours are Subject to Change without Notice!

With daylight savings time, we will start staying open until 9:00p.m. during the week in mid-June.

·         May to early June, Monday through Sunday: 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

·         Mid-June to August 14, Monday through Sunday: 11:00 a.m. to 9:00p.m.

·         August 14 – September 4, Weekdays: 4:00 p.m. to 8:00p.m. and Saturday & Sunday 11:00a.m. to 9:00p.m.

·         Pool is closed at 9:00p.m. for pool rentals.

During the time when school is in session, pool hours may be changed without prior notice based on availability of lifeguards.

Closing Due to Weather

Did you know lightning can ground strike 50 miles from a thunderstorm?  Any hint of lightning or thunder and the pool will close.  If it is bright and sunny overhead at the pool, the storm has moved on, or the storm is over Marion County, the pool will still close; any hint is enough.  This is for your safety and keeping in compliance with safety recommendations by the National Weather Service and the National Lightning Safety Institute.

Guest Fees

The following pool guest fee schedule will be effective opening day of the swim season:

·         Single pass for persons 2-10 years of age - $1.00

·         Single pass for persons 11 years of age & over - $2.00

·         Group passes - set of 12 one-day passes - $10.00

 All guest passes, single or group, must be purchased by a club member from the gate checker or concession stand at the pool.  In order for the guest pass to be used for entrance to the pool, the lot owner’s card must also be shown to the gate checker.  The lot owner may accompany the guest and show the lot owner’s card or the guest may present the pass along with the matching lot owner card.
